About Dr. Timothy Bortz…
Dr. Bortz deserves his well-earned reputation as an extraordinary healer, educator, and motivator. In addition to his chiropractic doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, he holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science and is a leader in treating Injuries. Palmer College of Chiropractic is known as the 'Fountainhead' of Chiropractic, and is where Chiropractic has its origins over 100 years ago.
Dr. Bortz is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) and Florida Chiropractic Society (FCS). Dr. Bortz was raised in Madison, Wisconsin where he spent 12 years in the Wisconsin Air National Guard before he left the military to start a career in Chiropractic.
As a physician with experience, Dr. Bortz is committed to promoting the health and well-being of his patients. Dr. Bortz uses a 'whole person approach'. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make appropriate interventions and lifestyle adjustments to optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Bortz is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health. Dr. Bortz has treated thousands of motor vehicle accident and work related injuries and has extensive knowledge of whiplash and injury related treatment.
Away from the practice, Dr. Bortz's interests include hunting, traveling back to his home state of Wisconsin, and as a former quarter back in high school, he enjoys keeping up with football. Dr. Bortz resides in Viera and spends most of his personal time with his wife Angie, and two children, Alexis and Evan.
